Recently, in my classroom I have been trying to implement more technology. My class loves it when we go to the computer lab to play math or literacy games. I find that this helps my students understand and master concepts in a fun yet independent way. There is a particular website I use for all my math and literacy games, I advice you all to check it out!

Very fun! Thanks for sharing!
We've been doing the same thing. We practice flash cards every day for their times tables. They get so bored becasue we've been doing the same thing for so long. But we just started going to the computer lab to go to interactive web sites that helps them with their times tables. Here are the web sites. honorpoint.com and multiplication.com. These are great resources.
I checked that website out Megan and I really like it! I have not used very much technology this year, but my students love when I do! I only have a teacher computer in my room, but I really like the idea of taking my class to the computer lab and practicing math on the computer. The math practice is very similar to what they do on paper, but I think the change of doing it on the computer will get the children really excited and motivated! I think I may use the computer lab as a reward and that may help my students improve their behavior as well as their math skills.
